Picture Organizing

I’m years behind on organizing my pictures, but I’m working on it. I love going through the ones my daughter has taken. Her view of the world is very different than mine and it’s easy to forget how different things look to little ones. I love this one of me buckling her into her car seat a few years ago. I told you I was years behind in organizing.

Samples!

I’m so excited about sending out some dry samples! After filling 4,500 sample vials of The Amazing Face Serum for a Vegan Cuts Beauty Box, I may never want to fill a liquid sample again. Ugh. But how cute are these?! Going out with every order! And I really believe that if you give cleansing grains a try, you’ll never want to be without them…

Celebrity Week – Liam Hemsworth

Sometimes I’m really surprised to hear a certain celebrity is vegetarian or vegan. Anyone who chooses compassion should be applauded, but this week let’s talk about the famous ones. 😉

I guess we should end the week on a high note. Ah, Liam Hemsworth. I know, right? Just when you thought he couldn’t get any dreamier:

“After all the information I gathered about the mistreatment of animals, I couldn’t continue to eat meat. The more I was aware of, the harder and harder it was to do.”
There are so many fabulous vegans and vegetarians out there. I’ve only covered 5 this week, but for more inspiration, check this out:

Celebrity Week – Joaquin Phoenix

Sometimes I’m really surprised to hear a certain celebrity is vegetarian or vegan. Anyone who chooses compassion should be applauded, but this week let’s talk about the famous ones. 😉

Joaquin Phoenix is nuts. I once read an article about his upbringing and his whole family is fascinating to me. By all means, read up on this guy. He’s captivating. And there’s no arguing his logic:

“It takes nothing away from a human to be kind to an animal.”

Celebrity Week – Paul McCartney

Sometimes I’m really surprised to hear a certain celebrity is vegetarian or vegan. Anyone who chooses compassion should be applauded, but this week let’s talk about the famous ones. 😉

Sir Paul sums it up pretty effortlessly:

“If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian.”

Celebrity Week – Peter Dinklage

Sometimes I’m really surprised to hear a certain celebrity is vegetarian or vegan. Anyone who chooses compassion should be applauded, but this week let’s talk about the famous ones. 😉

Peter Dinklage – how great is he, huh? He supports Farm Sanctuary (as does The Granola Goat!) and narrated the video Face your Food, a film advocating a vegan diet on ethical grounds.

“I decided to become a vegetarian when I was in my teens. At the time I was doing it because of my love for animals, but also for a girl. Of course. I have continued to stay with it out of my great respect for animals, though. Any form of animal abuse is pretty upsetting to me. As a New Yorker it’s hard to see horse drawn carriages every day, and I hope we can make more progress towards solving that issue.”
