The Short List

Nothing makes my eyes light up like finding a beauty product with a short, pronounceable list of ingredients. And that’s exactly what you’ll find on every product from The Granola Goat. The maximum benefit from the fewest ingredients rather than little benefit from many. Yes.

I hope you love them.

Is that so?

No one does anything uncharacteristic of who they are.

– The Messiah’s Handbook

I was at the library the other day and they browsed their ‘used books for sale’ area. A copy of ‘Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah’ by Richard Bach. I wondered why anyone would not treasure a copy of this book forever and always and how it ended up for sale? So I bought it for 50 cents thinking I’d read it again and then use it to wrap my products for shipping and save some tissue paper. When I got home with it, I discovered my husband had never read it. I was appalled. I had him start on it right away and he devoured it in about an hour. Have you read it? You might just be getting a page or two in with your next Granola Goat order. 😉

Beauty Bloggers Wanted

I’m caught up on a lot of work and looking to start really promoting my brand. How do I find beauty bloggers to review my products? Any ideas?

How bout another face polish? Did you love the turmeric one? I love them both! But this one doesn’t stain. It contains the world’s best super amazing skin food (IMHO), matcha green tea. Matcha is a wonderful detox tool for your face and so nourishing. Try it!!!

Tea-rrific Face Polish

  • 2 Tbsp Baking Soda (please chose a natural baking soda, not the orange box)
  • 1 Tbsp Dr. Bronner’s Magic Baby Soap (or any gentle soap of your choice)
  • 1 Tbsp Camelina Oil (or any oil of your choice)
  • 1/2 tsp Matcha Powder
  • 10 drops Lavender Essential Oil

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. I like to use a spatula to really blend the mix well. Any leftovers can be saved, but will turn dark on top. Just mix before your next use.

Place a scoop into wet hands and lather onto face. Use a gentle, circular motion and rinse. Admire your smooth and glowing skin. 😉

Every Vegan Cookbook Ever

I finally started using Overdrive to get my library books. I do love holding a book and so I still go to the library, but now… I can get pretty much every vegan cookbook ever made right on my phone. Oh my goodness. I’m gonna be doing a lot of food shopping.
